Still here, still fighting, still got hope.
In 2017, I returned to Hong Kong for the first time after being deported after my prison sentence.
During that visit, I was persuaded to write my story.
So, I did.
During that process, I separated from my wife, and was forced to leave India, where I was living, when I lost my job and visa. Didn't see my beautiful boys for 11 months. Then, during COVID, I lost my beautiful daughter Juno before I could meet her. She was born in Rome, which was in lockdown.
Just after that, my boys returned to Scotland and I was diagnosed with cancer. After beating that, I had a heart attack.
When my divorce was finalised this year, I lost everything and became homeless for 4 months. I haven't seen my boys since July.
But today I finished Volume 2 of my memoir Number 4.
7 years of writing,
7 years of life.
Still here,
still fighting,
still got hope.
Thank you to everyone I've met through these years. Those who have been part of the process from Hong Kong, Germany, Italy, Scotland, England and the U.S.
And to everyone around-the-world who has been a huge support to me.
I couldn't have done any of this if it wasn't for you.
